Now that we're starting to wrap up aeration and verti-cutting, we're transitioning into bunker maintenance. We've started to cut back our bunkers edges to help give them a well-defined appearance. Over the course of a growing season, the grass along the edges will gradually creep in a few inches depending on the specific area and environment. Edging the faces with a reciprocator helps maintain the bunkers intended shape and size.
We're primarily working on the back 9 bunkers at the moment so you may find some bunkers that have been cut but not cleaned up. Once we complete the bunker edging, we'll begin adding sand to bunkers. We have 70 tons of bunker sand scheduled to arrive next Monday.
