Approach Sod Replacement

We continued to remove the areas of Poa annua and ryegrass from our approaches and replace them with bent grass. The new bentgrass turf will allow us to reduce the amount of water and pesticides needed to properly maintain these areas. We will now be able to increase the firmness of the approaches to help improve ball roll and playability. This fall we replaced the approaches on holes 3, 4, 14, 16, and 18. Only the approaches on holes 7-11 remain and we are looking to complete all of those approaches in April
