Sod Projects

A number of sod projects have been completed this spring. We were able to sod the approached on holes 1, 2, 5, and 15 to remplace unwanted Poa annua and ryegrass contamination with bentgrass. These new bentgrass areas will greatly improve playing conditions in front of these greens. We will sod more approaches in the fall.

The project on hole 11 has been completed with new sod extended from the left side of the approach around the entire left side of green and wrapping around behind the green. The sod blends the roll off with 12 green and the Pagoda removal adds a streamlined panoramic view of the green surround.

We also sodded a number of miscellaneous areas on the golf course. We removed much of the cart path near 15 tee and placed it with tall fescue to improve the visuals from the tee box.
