The stone house has been getting a bit of a face lift over the last few weeks. Areas on all sides of the building were landscaped to help improve aesthetics. The windows and shingles also received a fresh coat of paint which has greatly improved the overall look of the house. The house has been surrounded by flowering shrubs. The pink magnolias in the front are just now beginning to flower. We also planting a number of mountain fire andromeda and scarlet azaleas. The flowering shrubs are surrounded by a number of inkberry and ninebark bushes to help provide a contrast in color. It will take a few seasons for everything to mature and fill in but I think we are off to a good start.
