Greens Aerification

Green aerification is now complete. On Monday we were able to punch holes in all 19 greens with the exception of the short game green. We were able to clean up all but two of the greens, 17 and 18. After some touch up work this morning and a second brushing and round of irrigation our greens are ready to begin healing.

We should see substantial healing before this weekend based on this week's weather forecast. The greens were rolled to help improve playability and we will continue to roll them throughout the week. We will attempt to mow greens Wednesday afternoon. The purpose of this "dry-cut" will be to help remove excess sand and improve smoothness. We will raise the heights slightly for this mowing.
