Cart Path Project

Dear Fellow Members:

Starting on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, work will begin on a cart path project involving several holes on the golf course, and it is anticipated that the project will be completed in approximately fourteen days after commencement. The commencement and completion of this cart path project is subject to weather conditions and any unexpected delays that may be encountered during the performance of the work.

The cart path project will include the removal or realignment of existing cart paths, but it will not include the addition of new path systems on the golf course. This project represents a continuation of the improvements being made to the golf course since the restoration was completed under the Master Plan. The cart path project was developed by the Golf Long Range Planning Committee in consultation with Forse Design, and it was approved by the Grounds Committee and the Board of Governors. Henderson and Company was recommended by Forse Design and after a competitive bidding process involving three companies, it was selected by the Club to perform the work.

The work performed by Henderson and Company will be supervised by Anthony Tosh, and reasonable efforts will be made to minimize interruptions in the use of the golf course. However, the cart path project work will have priority so that it can be completed as soon as possible.
